Terms and Conditions

Please read these Terms and Conditions ("Terms", "Agreement") carefully before using the Preparedge website, notification tools, and subscription alerts (collectively referred to as the "Service", "Platform", or "PreparEdge").

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing, browsing, registering on, or subscribing to Preparedge, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to be legally bound by these Terms and our accompanying Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with any provision set forth herein, you must immediately cease using this platform.

2. Nature of Service: Information-Only Platform

  • 2.1 Independent Information Portal: Preparedge operates exclusively as an independent digital information, organization, and notification tracking platform.
  • 2.2 Scope of Service: Preparedge compiles, organizes, categorizes, and displays publicly released employment, vacancy, examination, and recruitment updates for the convenience of candidates and subscribers.
  • 2.3 Discovery & Tracking: The Service helps candidates discover, monitor, and track relevant public employment notifications in a single place.
  • 2.4 Not a Recruitment Body: Preparedge is NOT a recruitment agency, human resources firm, staffing service, job placement consultancy, or employment broker.

3. Absolute Disclaimer of Role in Employment

Preparedge holds zero authority, role, influence, or involvement in any hiring, testing, or selection process. Specifically, Preparedge DOES NOT:

  • 3.1 Offer, promise, assign, or facilitate any employment, posting, or government appointment.
  • 3.2 Recruit, screen, shortlist, interview, evaluate, or select candidates.
  • 3.3 Conduct examinations, aptitude tests, skill evaluations, or interview rounds.
  • 3.4 Accept, submit, forward, process, or verify candidate application forms or required documents.
  • 3.5 Guarantee any interview call, hall ticket, score, ranking, merit list standing, or appointment.
  • 3.6 Influence, expedite, or intervene in any recruitment or selection workflow.
  • 3.7 Act as an employer, recruiter, consultant, agent, representative, or authorized application portal/intermediary for any Central or State Government body, Ministry, Department, Public Sector Enterprise (PSU), Bank, Commission, or private employer.

4. Mandatory Direct Application via Official Authorities Only

  • 4.1 No Applications on Preparedge: Preparedge does not process, receive, or host job applications.
  • 4.2 Official Portals Only: Every registration, application form submission, fee payment, document upload, signature/photo verification, correction window change, admit card download, correspondence, and grievance redressal must be completed directly by the candidate through the official portal or designated website published by the respective recruiting authority or employer.

5. Obligation to Independently Verify All Information

  • 5.1 Best-Effort Compilation: While Preparedge exercises best efforts to compile and present information accurately and in its original context, inadvertent clerical errors, omissions, typographical mistakes, or delays may occur.
  • 5.2 Mandatory User Due Diligence: Users are strictly obligated to independently re-verify all information—including vacancies, eligibility criteria, category reservations, age limits, important dates, fee structures, syllabus, required document formats, and official corrigenda—against the official notification and notification reference number published on the concerned employer's official website.
  • 5.3 Prevailing Authority: In case of any difference, contradiction, or discrepancy between information displayed on Preparedge and the official notification issued by the recruiting organization, the official notification and authority directives shall strictly prevail.

6. Subscription Fees vs. Recruitment Charges

  • 6.1 Platform Fee Solely: Any payment made to Preparedge is solely for access to our digital tools, notification feeds, monitoring dashboards, or curated updates.
  • 6.2 Not an Application Fee: Payments to Preparedge do NOT constitute an application fee, examination fee, registration charge, or challan payable to any recruiting authority or employer.
  • 6.3 No Employment Purchased: A subscription does not purchase employment, guarantee selection, or provide any preference or competitive advantage in any recruitment process.

7. Third-Party and Official External Links

Preparedge displays links directing users to official recruitment portals, government gazettes, and third-party websites for convenience. Preparedge does not maintain, endorse, or control external websites. Users must independently verify that they are accessing genuine, secure official portals before submitting personal information or making payments. Preparedge assumes no liability for external platform activities.

CRITICAL FRAUD ALERT & ADVISORY
  • 7.1 Do NOT pay or transfer money to any individual, broker, personal bank account, or UPI handle claiming to secure: a job or appointment; an interview or examination result; higher marks or preferential treatment; faster application processing; or selection through PreparEdge.
  • 7.2 Never disclose your account password, OTP, ATM PIN, debit/credit card details, or banking credentials to any person claiming to represent PreparEdge. PreparEdge staff will NEVER ask for banking PINs or confidential passwords.
  • 7.3 PreparEdge disclaims any liability for financial losses or fraud caused by any third parties.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Preparedge and its operators shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from missed application deadlines, changes in exam dates, canceled vacancies, typographical errors, or decisions made in reliance upon content displayed on the portal.

9. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any legal disputes arising out of or in connection with the Platform shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Kolkata, West Bengal.
